Shrimp Beef Broth Ramen Noodle Beef Brisket Egg

Savory Brisket & Shrimp Ramen

A rich, umami-heavy ramen bowl that combines tender, seared beef brisket with succulent shrimp in a deeply flavored beef broth.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb Beef brisket, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 1/2 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 package Ramen noodles
  • 3 cups Beef broth
  • 1-2 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes or garlic powder (from pantry)

Instructions

Sear the meats separately to develop a crust and prevent the broth from becoming overly cloudy.

  1. Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Gently lower the egg into the water and boil for 6-7 minutes for a jammy yolk. Immediately transfer to an ice bath, peel, and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Season brisket with salt and pepper, then sear until browned and slightly crispy. Remove brisket from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the shrimp. Cook for 2 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside with the beef.
  4. Pour the beef broth into the pan. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the ramen noodles to the simmering broth and cook for 2–3 minutes until tender.
  6. Pour the noodles and broth into deep bowls. Top with the seared brisket, shrimp, and the halved soft-boiled egg.

Season with extra pepper or red pepper flakes for heat.
